Alyosha Civil Bureaucracy

The Alyosha Civil Bureaucracy (ACB) is a galactic government consisting of hundreds of star systems and regional territories within the Perseus Arm in the first galactic quadrant of the Milky Way galaxy. At over two cubic megaparsecs in volume, it is one of the galaxy's largest consolidated governmental powers. It shares borders with the Menthu Confederation as well as several smaller organized territories.

History

Originally a collection of diverse territories with various separate unsteady alliances used for keeping the peace, several territorial power bases banded together to form the original Executive Committee.

Government

The ACB government is a bureaucratic system of administrative committees staffed by non-elected officials using a hierarchy of departmental cabinets.

Culture

The ACB is home to several native species consisting of a wide variety of traditions and values as well as many decentralized religious, corporate, and cultural groups. Mainstream cultural beliefs are mainly derived from a mix of localized native traditions and decentralized religious values.
