ACB government

The ACB government is composed of a hierarchy of administrative committees whose powers and duties are defined in the committee charter.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee functions as a board of directors and was established under the Alyosha Territorial Charter by a collection of territorial leaders who comprised its membership. Its modern members are a collection of the six cabinet department committee chairs.

Cabinet Departments

The cabinet departments consist of six branches of governance within the ACB.

Galaxy Committee

The Department of the Galaxy oversees matters related to foreign policy and interstellar issues relevant to the ACB.

Exchequer Committee

The Deparment of the Exchequer governs interstellar currency normalization, collects taxes, and manages the budget.

Chancellery Committee

The Department of the Chancellery maintains the enforcement of ACB interstellar laws, public safety, and crime prevention.

Interior Committee

The Department of the Interior oversees the conservation and management of ACB stellar territory and resources not specifically maintained by individual systems.

Commerce Committee

The Department of Commerce is concerned with economic growth and governs economy and trade laws.

Defense Committee

The Department of Defense coordinates and supervises committees and functions of the government directly related to stellar security of the Bureaucracy. It controls and maintains the military forces needed to deter war and ensure interstellar security.
