Runes function as structured instructions. Crystal lattices channel and store magical energy, while ley lines form the backbone of vast infrastructure networks. The result is a modern civilization where enchantment powers transportation, communication, medicine, industry, warfare, and the devices people carry every day. Magic is manufactured, engineered, regulated, repaired, and occasionally pushed far beyond what its designers intended. And, like every system, it can overload, fail, and be exploited.
